NEVA blinds used for sun shading of the 2018 Building of the Year of the Liberec Region

The LakePark residence on the shore of Lake Mácha won the 2018 Building of the Year of the Liberec Region award, with the contribution of NEVA blinds, which were used for sun shading on the building’s windows.

Located at Staré Splavy in Mácha’s Landscape, the LakePark residence is recognizable at first sight – it is lined with squared timber. Its apartments provide a beautiful view of Lake Mácha and Bezděz Castle.

The fresh look of the building is supplemented by our F-80 blinds – elegant shading that does not reduce the window height and goes perfectly with the façade of the building. The main reason why the architects chose this blind type is its minimalistic appearance – no skims on the slats make it look simple. They also opted for wire guiding in order to underline the simplistic and clean appearance even further

The LakePark residence was awarded the 2018 Building of the Year of the Liberec Region award, and in addition to the main prize for the architect Karel Hubáček, it also placed first in the Apartment Building and Amenity categories.

The head architect of the apartment building was Ing. arch. Petr Vacek of EBM (Expert Building Management) and delivery of the blinds was carried out by our partner SM Produkt. We have been collaborating with SM Produkt for a number of years and we are currently preparing more joint projects.
