But what effect does colour have on light transmission, for example, and how do architects and designers think about roller shutter colour?<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-heading typography my-1\">\n              \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You can match them with the interior and exterior<\/h2>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-paragraph typography my-1\">\n              \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike aluminium roller shutters or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neva.eu\/en\/blinds\/external-blinds\/\">external blinds<\/a>, you can see out through closed roller shutters. And you have to be aware of the fact that their colour creates an imaginary filter through which you will be looking at your surroundings for decades to&nbsp;come.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-paragraph typography my-1\">\n              \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When choosing a&nbsp;colour, think about how the house will look from the outside and the inside.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-paragraph typography my-1\">\n              \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You can match the roller shutter colour with:<\/strong><\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-list typography my-1\">\n              \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>the colour of the window frame<\/strong> \u2013 you can\u2019t go wrong there, especially if you have the same window colour inside and outside,<\/li><li><strong>interior<\/strong> \u2013 floor, walls or furniture,<\/li><li><strong>fa\u00e7ade of the<\/strong> house<\/li><li>or <strong>wider surroundings <\/strong>than just the building itself (neighbouring houses, countryside).<\/li><\/ul>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-paragraph typography my-1\">\n              \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cWe always design screen roller shutters in the context of the space or the fa\u00e7ade. Only once the surrounding colour scheme has been settled do we decide on the roller shutter colour. Basically, there are two options \u2013 to look for shades that will blend in with the surroundings or, on the contrary, will  directly contrast with them,\u201d<\/em> says architect Roman Vrti\u0161ka from Vrti\u0161ka <span class=\"amp\">&amp;<\/span>&nbsp;\u017d\u00e1k.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-paragraph typography my-1\">\n              \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The roller shutters should complete the overall impression of the interior and fit your style and taste. If you are a&nbsp;fan of:<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-list typography my-1\">\n              \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>pure Scandinavian style<\/strong>, then you can\u2019t go wrong with&nbsp;white;<\/li><li><strong>modern, industrial style<\/strong>, go for grey to black&nbsp;tones,<\/li><li><strong>retro and artistic style<\/strong>, don\u2019t be afraid of brown or&nbsp;beige.<\/li><\/ul>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-heading typography my-1\">\n              \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">White, black or neutral tones?<\/h2>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-paragraph typography my-1\">\n              \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>size of the screened area <\/strong>also plays an important role. White makes the space feel larger, so it is suitable for smaller rooms and flats. On the other hand, a&nbsp;large space will be improved by dark shades, which will make it appear more cosy and defined.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-paragraph typography my-1\">\n              \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you don\u2019t want to experiment too much, you can play it safe with <strong>neutral shades<\/strong>: grey, beige or pearl white. Therefore, keep in mind that white will always be more permeable and \u201clight up\u201d a&nbsp;space more than any darker shade. In principle, we can say that the darker the colour, the greater the attenuation,\u201d <\/em>says Roman Vrti\u0161ka.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n\n        <section class=\"component component-gutenberg-paragraph typography my-1\">\n              \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to light, <strong>heat absorption<\/strong> is also important to prevent the room from overheating. According to measurements carried out, screen roller shutters reduce the room temperature by 3\u2009\u2013\u20097\u00b0C, but a&nbsp;lot depends on the colour. <em>\u201cIf a&nbsp;customer is looking for a&nbsp;fabric colour with the best possible ratio between light transmission and heat absorption, then we recommend grey fabrics.
