New hall: we\u2019ve again made valuable archaeological findings<\/h2>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

We\u2019re building the new hall next to the existing paint shop<\/strong>, with which it will be connected. Some parts of production will move into the hall, and we\u2019ll also utilise it to manufacture a new product. The hall differs from the other buildings on the premises in its design<\/strong> \u2013 it will cover an area of 2,300 sqm without support columns<\/strong> so that we can make full use of the space inside. <\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

But before we started the construction project, the area was scoured by archaeologists. This was because they had discovered further evidence of the existence of the vanished settlement of Rakousky<\/strong> on the site, so they followed on from previous excavations on the grounds. The investigation was led by archaeologist PhDr. Pavel Fojt\u00edk, who has experience with excavations in Prost\u011bjov\u2019s industrial zone.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

\u201cAn investigation using a metal detector yielded a valuable find, we discovered a bronze needle from the Late Bronze Age. It is the first item so dated from Kralick\u00fd h\u00e1j<\/em>\u201d, says Fojt\u00edk.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Now that there\u2019s nothing to hinder construction work and provided that everything goes well, we\u2019ll open the new hall most probably in May 2021.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n
